Laundry Cottage

Laundry Cottage is a cosy Victorian 2 bedroom terraced cottage located in a quiet, semi-rural residential area on the outskirts of Ilfracombe.  It has been used as a holiday cottage for almost 20 years and is regularly updated. It's well suited for families with young children or couples.

Living space

The reception room is a good size with comfortable sofa and two armchairs and the dining area seats four plus highchair. There is a tv, with freeview, firestick and dvd player, a stereo with iphone connector along with a cupboard full of games and books and dvd's for all ages. Wifi is fast and reliable too.

The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge freezer, dishwasher, electric oven and gas hob, microwave and also a washing machine. There are a lot of pots, pans, baking things and kitchen implements as I use the place myself frequently.

The bathroom is downstairs and has a bath with overhead shower and great hot water pressure as its from a combi boiler.

Upstairs

There are two bedrooms- a large sunny double with views to the fields behind. This room has a walk-in wardrobe and chest of drawers and there is room for a cot.

The second bedroom has full size bunks (so can sleep adults if needed!) with a wardrobe and chest of drawers. Mattresses in both rooms are are very comfortable and all bedding is allergy free.

For those with young children there is a stairgate, travel cot and wooden highchair already there- no need to request them.

Outside

Relax in the small sun-trap patio garden with table and chairs and charcoal BBQ. There is also a covered side return with washing line so great for hanging out wetsuits or drying washing. There are a few beach toys like buckets, spades and crabbing lines here too.

There is also a large secure grass playpark about 100m down the road.

Parking is free on the street outside and you can usually park right outside the cottage.
